Haunted Road in Islamabad, Pakistan

The story is from 90's. My father used to work at night shift. He was in Radio Pakistan and he had to got to the office in midnight by using Srinagar Highway. At that time there was a thick forest on both sides of the road and it was a single road. On one dark winter night time was around 3:00 AM, my father was going on his own car and suddenly a man appears in the middle of the road wearing a long white plane dress while resting his head on his shoulder. My father crossed him and first thought that he might stop and ask him if everything fine with him why is he standing in the middle of the road at this part of the night but suddenly a thought came to his mind that it is not a normal person and this is something else. He speed up his car and reached office as quickly as possible.
