Haunted Road in Islamabad, Pakistan

The story is from 90's. My father used to work at night shift. He was in Radio Pakistan and he had to got to the office in midnight by using Srinagar Highway. At that time there was a thick forest on both sides of the road and it was a single road. On one dark winter night time was around 3:00 AM, my father was going on his own car and suddenly a man appears in the middle of the road wearing a long white plane dress while resting his head on his shoulder. My father crossed him and first thought that he might stop and ask him if everything fine with him why is he standing in the middle of the road at this part of the night but suddenly a thought came to his mind that it is not a normal person and this is something else. He speed up his car and reached office as quickly as possible.

Scissors Gone

Today i will share my childhood horror story.  When i was 8 years old , i used to do my homework in living room.  One day when i was doing my art homework i was alone in sitting room. My mom was in kitchen making dinner. I used to do my homework mostly alone. I placed all my things besides me first so that i don't have to grab my bag again and again for any thing like color , eraser and scissors. I made my drawing on a paper now i have to cut it and paste it on another sheet. Earlier i placed my scissors on the couch beside me. When i look there for my scissor it was not there where i placed it. I thought may be i forgot to take it out from my bag , i checked there. Obviously it wasn't there as i already took it out. Then i look for it in my cupboard and every where i thought it could be but useless. So i used kitchen scissors. Then when i done with my work and putting all stuff in my bag , i found my scissors just right on the couch where i placed it before starting my work. It was so prominent and clearly lying there that nothing was on it as i would say that it might be underneath of my book or something. Nothing was on it. I startled , what i just looked for it there at least 5 times ;it wasn't there and now its so clear and obvious. After this incident one or two more times i lost and found few more things and after that as i told in my previous post that it was something in our house and our Father made it to leave. After that nothing horror incident happened.

SUICIDE BRIDGE

Colorado Street Bridge was built in 1912. It is located in Pasadena. Claimed its first suicide in 1919 and many more since then. There are almost 102 suicides reported. The hauntings include a man jumping off the bridge but when they look down there is no one there and there is also a lady who walks on the bridge at night. Today it is known as the SUICIDE BRIDGE because of the number of suicides. The way for going to that bridge is blocked now but some people still find a away to go there and end their lives. Many spirits have been seen here at night of the people who commited suicide here.

Pennsylvania State University

Pennsylvania State University is located in Pennsylvania. It is a haunted university. There are so many ghosts present in the university but the famous one is of a girl. That girl was murdered in the library. She was studying there on a desk and was attacked with a knife and died. This is still a mystery that how she died. Now the students have reported of seeing her walking through the halls of the university. It is a haunted place to go at night. In the day time students still come here for studying.

Bonaventure Cemetery

Bonaventure Cemetery is located in Savannah, Georgia. It is mostly known for its beautiful scenery and the statues that are present inside it. There are many spirits that are in this cemetery but the most popular one is of a 6 yr old girl named Gracie. It is said that it lives in the statue that looks exactly like her. People often leave her gifts and if someone takes her gifts away the statue cries tears of blood. Now it is the most visited statue in the cemetery. For the safety of the statue now there is are bars around the statue. Some people have also seen her in a white dress skipping through the cemetery. If you ever had a chance to visit the cemetery be sure to leave her some gifts for her pleasure.

Merritton Tunnel

Merritton Tunnel also known as the blue ghost tunnel is located in Thorold, Ontario. It was built in 1876. During the construction of this tunnel 107 construction workers died here due to some reasons, from then the tunnel is abandoned. From then voices can be heard and a blue mist can be seen. You can also feel a force sometimes that is pushing you backwards. Due to these reasons the tunnel was blocked by the people. Now only researchers go in there and the people who want to explore theses kind of places. This is known to be the most haunted place in Ontario.

Haunted Lighthouse

St.Augustine Lighthouse is located in St.Augustine, Florida. It was built in 1824. It is haunted by the ghost of the keeper who died here and he used to enjoy cigar. Today we can smell his cigar when we enter the lighthouse. Footsteps are also heard by the staff. Spooky voices can also be heard. A figure is also seen sometimes at the top of the lighthouse at night. It is said to be the figure of the man who died here and his two daughters who also died here can also be seen sometimes laughing and playing. Many ghost hunters have visited this place and researched on it.

Haunted Forest

Aokigahara forest is located in Japan. It is also known as the suicide forest. Almost 500 people committed suicide in this forest in 1950. It is the world's second most famous place to commit suicide. In the past the people who had not enough money to feed the whole family would leave a family member here so that they have to feed less mouths. The people who were left here starved to death. This forest is said to be haunted by the ghosts of these people. The police officers often go here and collect all the bodies and store them in one place. The officers say that the bodies found in this forest cant be counted. Its impossible to count how many people committed suicide here.

The Forbidden City

The Forbidden City is located in Beijing, China. It was a home for the royalties for about 500 years after it was created. Now it is also known as Palace Museum. It is present in the center of the Beijing city. Sightings of ghost and apparitions have been reported by the guards, staff and the people living around. Many people died behind these walls. The guards say that they often see weeping woman in long white gowns in the night. Screaming can also be heard at night. If you ever visit Beijing, you should definitely go here but at day not in night or otherwise you will experience some supernatural stuff.

Mary King's Close

Mary King's Close is located in Edinburgh, Scotland. It is a haunted close. Hauntings have been reported since the 17 Century. It is believed to be one of  the most haunted places on the Earth. This close has many tunnels and underground rooms which lead to many houses. When the plague broke out, this close became completely abandoned.
The hauntings also include the spirits of the victims of the plague. The hauntings also include the spirit of a little girl named Annie. Footsteps can be heard. Shadows and apparitions are also seen here. Ghostly voices can also be heard. Due to these reasons it is said to be one of the most haunted places in the world.

Akershus Fortress

Akershus Fortress is located in Oslo, Norway. It was used as a prison for many years. It is now a a public place for the visitors. Many prisoners dyed during their imprisonment. It is said to be the most haunted place in Norway. The most popular demon is that of a dog. It stays at the gates of the fortress at night and the person who gets in contact with it dies in 3 months. There is also a ghost of a woman who walks in the halls. She wears a long robe and has a dull face impression. If you ever visit this place just dont get in contact with the dog!.

Haunted Tower

Tower of London is located on the North bank of River James in Central London. The castle was used as a prison from 1100 to 1952. Early in its history its served as a royal residence. It was built by William the conqueror in 1078. It is listed as one of the most haunted place in UK. Many ghost have been seen here since then. The most famous ghost is the wife of King Henry VIII, Anne Boleyn. She is still seen in the corridors without her head. Other apparitions of full bodies have also be seen. In the White Tower the White Lady roams. There are also apparitions of two mysterious boys holding hands. Next time you want to go to the Tower of London, be sure not to go at night or you will meet some good people without their heads.

Haunted Hotel

Banff Springs Hotel is located in Alberta, Canada. It was built in the 19th Century. This hotel was opened on 1 June, 1888. It was built by Canadian Pacific Railway for a spot for the train travelers. The hauntings include a bride, who fell from the stairs few hours before her wedding and her dress was caught on her. People say that they often see that bride walking on that staircase or roaming around it.
There was also a family that was murdered on the room 873. This family is still seen today roaming around that room and in the hall. The hauntings also include a bellman, Sam Macauley. He worked in this hotel in the 60's and 70's. He sill roams in this hotel and helps the people. If you try to talk to him or give him a tip, he just vanishes.

Haunted Hotel

Raj Kiran Hotel is located in Lonavala, Mumbai. It is one of the most haunted places in India. It is not a big hotel but it is sure very scary. It is said that there is a particular room on the ground floor where guests have said that their sheets or blankets are pulled off on their own and some have also said that if they wake up in the middle of the night they often see blue light on their feet. This room is at the corner of the ground floor and is a home to many spirits and shadowy figures. People which stay in this room have to often go through mental therapies. Due to these various reasons this room is not rented anymore by someone and people are scared to go even near that room now.

Haunted Castle

Castle of Good Hope is located in Cape Town, South Africa. It was built in 17th century. It became a historical monument in 1936. The hauntings includes a man who walks in the halls and a dog who jumps on passersby. Footsteps can also be heard at night. There is also a woman known as "The lady in Grey" who runs in the halls crying and after a while she just magically disappears. When the castle is empty the lights go ON and OFF on their own. This castle is now a famous museum and also a famous site for the ghost hunters.

Haunted Cemetery

Highgate Cemetery is located in North London, England. It was opened in 1839 and has graves of many many people. It is said to be the most haunted place in England. By 1960 this cemetery became completely abandoned. Due to this reason many spirits start to live here. Not only ghosts are present here but also it is said that at night a vampire is also roaming in this graveyard.

There are also robbers here at night time. Also there are demons with red eyes and vampires which are thirsty for human blood. There is also a woman with long grey hairs which roams around this cemetery and disturbs the people passing by at night. This cemetery is home to many paranormal creatures. Only few people have the courage to go into this cemetery.

Haunted Cinema

Who said spirits cannot enjoy a movie ??..
Shireen Cinema is located in Karachi, Pakistan. According to the guards and people working here, laughs and weird voices are often heard at night. Shadows can also be seen on the screen when the whole hall is empty. They also said that singing and whispers can also be heard. This cinema is now closed down due to these apparitions. The workers also hesitate to work here at night.

Haunted Places

Chandan Nagar is a haunted colony present in Pune. This place is haunted by the ghost of  a girl who walks in a white frock and she cradles a doll in her hand. The history of the girl is that she died when she was 10, during the construction of a building. From that day she still roams around that building after midnight in the shape of a ghost. If you look at her she gives you an evil laugh and sometimes comes running towards you. If you block her path she will certainly block yours.! People living in that colony have often seen her shadows and sometimes full body after midnight.

Haunted Tunnel

The Screaming Tunnel is located in Niagara, Ontario, Canada. This was once used as a drainage tunnel so that the water can be removed from the farmlands. This tunnel was constructed in the 1800's. It is haunted by the ghost of a girl who escaped from a building which was caught on fire and she died here in this tunnel. Her ghost still lives here. It is said that anyone who lights a wooden match here will hear screaming and cries of that girl. At late night people living nearby often hear screams of a girl from this tunnel.
